HOW TO:GROOVY NAILS

Give your nails a cosy autumn makeover with this groovy 70’s inspired nail look from @simlynail using our Whispers in the Woods collection.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Bloodline Cherry – A vibrant cherry red crème
Sage Potion– A muted sage green crème
Mystic Maple– A warm rustic orange crème
Phantom– An intense dark purple crème

STEP 1: BASE

Prep your nails with our vitamin-rich To Have + To Hold Base Coat to create a smooth surface, extending the life of your manicure whilst promoting healthier-looking nails.

STEP 2: SWIRL LINES

Using a thin nail brush, carefully draw wavy lines using Bloodline Cherry, Mystic Maple and Phantom.

STEP 3: FLOWER POWER

Using a dotting tool, create five evenly spaced dots in a circle across the nail with Phantom. Then, using a thin brush, carefully connect each dot to the centre to form a flower shape. Add a central dot of Sage Potion.

Finish by painting the nail tip with Sage Potion in a swirling motion with the pro-glide brush.

STEP 4: GROOVY DAISY GARDEN

Begin by painting the nail tip with Sage Potion in a swirling motion with the pro-glide brush.

With a dotting tool, place five small dots close to one another using Bloodline Cherry, then add a single middle dot of Mystic Maple to create a small flower.

STEP 5: SEAL

Using Shine + Shield Top Coat, seal your manicure with a lustrous, mirror-like shine that amplifies the vibrancy of the colours and protects the polish for prolonged wear.
